Yes, we have a new dog. Her name is Annie. She is four months old and seems to be a mix between a giant schnauzer and a wire haired terrier of some sort. At first Charlie was having a tough time getting along with her… Odd considering we were sure Lucy would be the one to have a tough time adjusting. Insteadf Lucy is perfectly fine with the dog and Charlie has had to learn to get used to having a puppy around. Although after a few days now Charlie has learned to appreciate having a little sister around that is willing to play constantly.
Of course being a giant schnauzer mix she will outgrow both Lucy and Chrlie by a considerable amount. A pure bread giant schnauzer can get up to 27″ at its shoulders, much taller than Lucy at around 16″ and Charlie at around 15″. Still though, Lucy has maintained her lead over the pack, and Charlie and Annie are trying to figure out who is second dog. All of them are now doing well though.
